Historical Owner Booklets written by Woodman's Pal Inventor and Engineer Frederick Ehrsam  

The Woodman’s Pal® was standard issue to the army from WWII through Desert Storm.  GI’s and the US Army Signal Corp relied heavily on the Woodman’s Pal for all land clearing operations.  In Vietnam, the tool was issued in air crew survival kits due to its multitude of uses. 

Military knife "LC-14-B" was included in Vietnam Pilot's "Emergency kit" - pilots said they never wanted to see the Woodman's Pal because it means they have had to eject from their plane and now they are in full survival mode!

These booklets were given with the Woodman's Pal to prepare the user for all the different uses of the Woodman's Pal. Reprints of these original owner manuals include:
